    Mycophenolate mofetil MMF is a novel immunosuppressive agent currently being used for the prevention of renal allograft rejection in combination therapy.   6. I was diagnosed w dermatomyositis when I was 12. I am now 34. I have abeen on plaquenil, prednisone, methotrexate, cytoxan, immuran, gamma gobulins IVIG, plasma pheresis. The rash was never a big thing with me, it didn't itch or seem to be very bad. The plaquenil worked fo that.
